  YouPlanIt Classroom puts learning into the hands of your child and makes learning easy to trace, report and engage with.

  YouPlanIt is not a set curriculum.  It is simply a platform that allows your child to express their ideas, passions, interests, and talents into a manageable and meaningful path for learning.  

  Our hope is that by using YouPlanIt Classroom your child becomes empowered to mature their talents, become purposeful in its expression, and find fulfillment knowing they have everything they need to move forward in their learning.

  Planning

• Planning that support New Zealand standards, concept-based, and proven strategies for learning 
• Transformational lesson planning for parents and students making planning the easy part of learning
• Plan ahead with set dates
• Formative and summative assessments automatically support all planning areas
• Learning objectives and Success Criteria menus that can be modified by the student or parent to meet the needs of the individual student or group
• Resources are immediately accessible 
• Resources can easily be added to a lesson 
• Collaborative planning with groups of kids in different locations

Marking

• Students self-assess, reflect and comment on their work
• The teacher can view students' communication, goals, Learning Intentions, Success Criteria, group work, individual work, files, and completed work, etc 
• Teacher views student reflection and self-assessment then responds (student conference or simply written comment)
• All marking is sent to the reporting system which then creates a school report as the students progress through the year - assessable anytime, anywhere

Reporting

• All reporting is a response to the self-assessment, reflection, and teacher marking of student's work
• The reporting system will record all the responses and filter these into the correct curriculum areas and provide a full profile of the student's progress
• Graphs show what the students have completed in the New Zealand Curriculum standards and show what they still need to complete
• I final general comment provided by the teacher
• A general encouraging comment by the student's parent or guardian
